The ceiling of Stereoscope is adorned with a stunning Renaissance-style painting, although it requires 3D glasses to discern it. It’s a colorful contrast to the stark white, multi-textured backdrop of the walls, floor, and equipment. Stereoscope also has a NASA-designed pour-over system that factors human error into its consistency, while minimizing wait times. The combination of all of the above has garnered this coffee shop a reputation for its awe-inspiring design. When we experience a cup of coffee it’s not just the final step, the brewing, that we taste. Every step from the farm to the cup, is an opportunity to curate that experience with our world and others in mind.

A member of various garden clubs, Lam has turned his home garden into a bit of a jungle in the past nine years. He’s particularly fond of Maxillaria tenuifolias, commonly called coconut orchids for the unmistakable aroma they emit. During his travels and those of his father, who’d pick up a list of exotic species for his son every time he went fishing Costa Rica, Phillips amassed an amazing collection of plants, many of which are now nearly impossible to find.

Raffa was indicted for 12 counts of illegal renumerations for referrals to his clinical treatment facilities by a federal grand jury on April 10. Lauren Jue, also on the park committee, grew up in the community and moved back when her children were young. “All the meetings are outside in the park.” She explained that the neighborhood has a mix of ages and the park committee works hard to serve all of them.

In addition to coffee, the look, ambience, food and staff also make the coffee shop “work,” Bengtsson said. With pristine white walls, lights and tables, the design creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, he said. Kit allows coffee lovers a more creative way to get their daily caffeine intake through several specialty drinks. A strawberry Alarm Clock is a sweet start to the day, channeling the bliss of a strawberry milkshake while containing two shots of espresso and fresh strawberry puree. For an additional dopamine hit, Kit sells plants alongside its beverages.
Roasting is our passion, so we embrace both the art and the science required to turn something into a true masterpiece. We nurture each bean to reach it’s greatest flavor potential and in doing so we maintain a certified USDA Certified Organic quality throughout the roasting process. Our passion for quality, experience in roasting, and articulate design allows us to deliver something unique for each person we serve. Helping everyone learn more about our roasting process, the beans we source, and the best brewing methods is a continuation of these priorities.

The Newport Coffee House is an interior build-out of an existing commercial space in the heart of downtown Evanston. The design process began with a casual conversation between the architect and the owner in a small café in Andersonville. Part of the discussion covered the elements required with making exceptional coffee. This inspired the notion of precision required in the laboratory setting which helped conceptualize the coffee bar- the focal point of the space. The lab concept also drove the organization of the equipment and the ash wood light rig which highlights and illuminates the work performed at the coffee bar.
Orange County’s coffee shops are tucked into the most unassuming corners of suburbia — including industrial parks, luxury apartment complexes, strip malls, and outdoor plazas. Despite the sometimes-veiled storefronts, the experts who occupy these java shops beckon coffee lovers with an array of remarkable caffeinated experiences. Each of these spots can be pursued with the assistance of this map — and they’re well worth the effort. To discover the essential places to eat in Orange County, head over here.

Maison Café brims with sincerity, from the homemade cinnamon-doused cashew milk to the servers themselves. The spot is a full-service breakfast and lunch eatery owned by a powerhouse of a woman who’s not only a single mom, but an entrepreneur, restaurateur, and chef. And for every cup of joe sold, the dollars spent help Wild Goose Roasters accomplish its mission of supporting California food banks. This sunny spot is a true daydream and one-stop shop for beans, boards, and denim alike. While coffee memberships are common, Daydream offers its members access to a rotating quiver of 50 surfboards.

“I am at a loss for words about the tragic loss of life of our class of 2022 graduate, Erin Jones. Erin Jones died early Sunday after attending an off-campus house party in Tucson, where she was a sophomore at the University of Arizona. Authorities said that Raffa would allegedly enter “sham contracts” with some of those individuals to conceal the payments. Payments would be determined, in encrypted messaging services, by insurance revenues that Raffa expected for those patients, prosecutors said. He allegedly would refuse to pay if those clients stayed for less than 21 days at one of his facilities. Eastbluff Park committee member Louise Upham lives across the street from the park with a panoramic view from her kitchen window.

Efforts were made to repurpose as much of the previous build-out as possible. Much of the original floorplan remained intact, only six lineal feet of interior wall was moved. It’s our opportunity for space, to decompress, and connect with people and the world around us.
A table was set up with free, pre-made crafts available for children to decorate and take home. “We were able to get the information out to the community about the importance of restoring natural plants,” said Blue Heron Park committee chairman Nancy Kerr. “We want to bring back to California some of the species that are dwindling. Blue Heron Park, located within the Newport Beach Eastbluff neighborhood development, was the site of a first-anniversary party celebration of its butterfly garden last Saturday. Nine of Balboa Island‘s teak sidewalk benches, phased out and replaced beginning in 2020, are up for auction as of Wednesday.
A favorite at the show for well over a decade, Andy’s Orchids fills up two stalls on the plaza’s second floor with floor-to-ceiling “orchids on a stick,” either mounted on wood or in hanging displays. The vendor has been attracting newbies and old pros alike with a verdant display that’s not to be missed. She also gets diapers monthly through another CAP OC partner, Friendly Center, located in Orange close to where she works. For thousands of Orange County families with young children, though, baby diapers are just as necessary. A Newport Beach man was arrested Saturday for allegedly paying nearly $175,000 in illegal payments to receive referrals of patients to his sober living homes — a practice known as “body brokering,” according to authorities. Also in attendance on Saturday were Irvine Ranch Conservancy and Environmental Nature Center representatives, on hand to describe the facilities they offer for the exploration of native habitats.
Pristine white Slayer espresso machines positioned symmetrically on the coffee bar reinforce the notion of a laboratory for coffee. Located in a historic house on a picturesque street that feels utterly removed, this hidden gem is worth the venture. While the coffee menu is delicious and the pastries are baked in-house, it’s the good-heartedness of the owner that elevates this cafe to something truly unusual. Hidden House is owned by a local Marine, and the San Juan location has incidentally been dedicated to town veterans, as noted by the cafe’s Wall of Honor. There’s also local lore about the place bringing luck in love after multiple people, including the owner, fell in love on the front porch.
